Kenjisoft ("we") respects the privacy of users, complies with applicable laws on the protection of personal information, and strives to handle data appropriately.

This privacy policy ("the Policy") governs the handling of personal information in the "Uyghur Dictionary" service ("the Service") that we provide.

1. Registration info:Email address and hashed password.
2. Learning data:Saved words and phrases, study progress, quiz history, review lists, and other data generated by registered users on the Service.
3. Usage logs:Access timestamp, IP address, browser type, OS type, referrer URL, and other technical log information.
4. Feedback content:Information you provide through the feedback form.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

1. Providing and operating the Service.
2. Authenticating and managing registered user accounts.
3. Providing learning features (progress tracking, wordbook, quizzes).
4. Improving the Service and developing new features.
5. Preventing abuse and maintaining security.
6. Responding to user inquiries.
7. Compliance with applicable laws.

The Service uses the following third-party services for operations and analytics. Using these services may transmit data to the relevant providers.

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience and the Service itself.

1. Essential cookies:Used to maintain authentication sessions. Disabling these prevents core features of the Service from working.
2. Analytics cookies:Used by Google Analytics to collect usage statistics. You can disable these in your browser settings.

Even if you disable cookies, you can still browse basic features of the Service, but registered-user features will not be available.

We retain collected information only as long as necessary for the purposes of use.

1. Registration info and learning data are retained while the user holds an account.
2. On account deletion, we delete the user's registration info and learning data within 30 days.
3. Usage logs are, in principle, deleted or anonymized 13 months after collection.
4. Information whose retention is required by law is retained for the required period.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information.

1. Disclosure:You may request disclosure of your personal information that we hold.
2. Correction:If your personal information is incorrect, you may request correction.
3. Deletion:You may request deletion of your personal information. You can also do this yourself via the account deletion feature.
4. Suspension of use:You may request that we cease using your personal information.
5. Data export:You may request export of your stored learning data.

To exercise these rights, please contact us via the feedback form. After identity verification, we will respond within a reasonable scope.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties without user consent, except in the following cases.

1. When required by law.
2. When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and obtaining consent is difficult.
3. When providing information to third-party service providers listed in Article 4 to the extent necessary for service delivery.

As stated in Article 4, the Service uses providers with servers in the United States and other countries. Consequently, user personal information may be transferred outside Japan.

We confirm that destination providers maintain appropriate data protection measures before using their services.

We may revise this Policy as needed. For material changes, we will notify users via in-service announcement or email.

The revised Policy applies from the effective date that we specify.
